The first Magis youth convention was (Magis-Latin word
which means “More”) a gathering of youth and youth animators from Jesuit
Institutions all over India began at St Joseph’s Boys’ High School Campus
Bangalore. It was a five day event from November 1 to 5. It was not merely a gathering,
because it included three days of exposure, refection and activities. The AICUFers
from our college presented a cultural dance on the first day. The Magis theme song was composed by our
AICUFer, P V Peter, 1st
year M Sc. in Comp Science. The experiences and activities of the Magis
transformed our 15 AICUFers.
